Getting going in Richmond Virginia this morning, crashing at my older cousin's who is a big Michigan fan. He says he doesn't want to sit long through today's game Vs Indiana especially if things get ugly. Says we'll instead go to Richmond Vs Marist college basketball game if Michigan starts going off the rails.

Wife and will be heading over to Pizza Port Brewing Co in the Jeep today for lunch. 

Yesterday got a couple of beautiful pieces of ahi tuna from Wild Fork which is defrosting and will be seared for dinner tonight. That'll be nice.

Iowa has laid an egg in 2 straight road games at Mich St and UCLA.  In both games,  Iowa's defense did a very bad job of tackling compared to the typical Iowa defense. 

This got me wondering what could be the problem other than just being on the road in general. One thing MSU and UCLA have in common is they both play on grass at home.

I have a new theory that Iowa does not play well on the road when they play on a grass field.  But I am too lazy to actually prove it.  I wonder if other teams have similar problems on grass
