I'm thinking of matching up '94 PSU vs '01 Miami tonight.  Can't decide which side to play as.

Apparently the girl kicker at Vandy kinda ripped the team at halftime for not cheering each other on enough on the sideline.  Then she goes out and scuffs one along the turf 20 yards.  I know if I was a player I’d love if a chick used solely for a PR stunt tried to give me a pep talk and then showed exactly why she shouldn’t have been on the field in the first place.

Only electronic football full encapsulates the randomness of this season.
Great point

It is made even worse because Vandy would have had a decent kicker available is not for the fact that they canceled their men's soccer program due to Title IX.

I mean, if we're talking folks that shouldn't have been on the field, the whole Commodore team probably shouldn't have showed up most of this season.

I'm not looking forward to some of the 2020 teams I'll be creating, with 5-7 game's worth of statistics.  There's going to be some wonky stuff.

I put the write up on the Game Outcomes page on the board, but for those interested, '01 Canes fend off a feverish comeback and break up a 2pt conversion to defeat '94 PSU by the score of 24-23.   The Conway missed PAT in the first half bit them.

much better than electronic football.

It strikes me as predictable, and odd, that such a deal was made of the Vandy female kicker.  It's not as if this portends some major influx of female players in CFB.  I imagine a few will trickle in for a bit as kickers, and then it will be a thing which was done already and passe.

To me, it's not news more than a minor blip.

OK, they had a female kicker, got it,  Next?

The whole thing relies on kickers being "football players," which they're decidedly not.

Next they fired the head coach. Not related to the choice of kicker when the other kickers weren't available.

If feels like the subject would've died quick, but the culture war side of it is gonna keep burning long after she transfers to North Texas (I'm not sure if that's at semester or not).

it was stupid and reckless to let her kick in a P5 football game.

Kickers can get destroyed in football. This could've happend.....

Right.  Not football players.
