This is my "go to":

0-60 Times | Find 0 to 60 & Quarter Mile Times Car Specs (zeroto60times.com)

2016 Ford Flex Limited AWD

0-60 mph 6.2  Quarter mile 14.7
Yeah, that was the site that told me 8.4s, which is pretty close to what I remember when I was researching the car before I bought it.

Mine is a Limited, but doesn't have the 365hp EcoBoost engine and is FWD, not AWD.

2009 Ford Flex Limited AWD

0-60 mph 8.3  Quarter mile 16.2

I don't know what engine that had in 2009.  That's the slowest they feature.  That V6 is a good engine I think.

According to that, 4.4 seconds for mine.

I rarely use that.

The Full AMG would get me 2.9 seconds. 4.4 is just fine.

I know @Honestbuckeye would beg to differ. :)

I almost never had the GTI on the floor, and then only briefly to see how it would respond.  I've never had the Tuscon on the floor.

I tried the GTI a bit once but had it in Normal mode, and it detuned the engine to keep the wheels from burning.  It bogged it down.  Aha.  Next stop light I put it in sport and it didn't do that, the front tires chirped quite a bit.

The Tuscon has a "Sport" mode that changes the dash display and little else, maybe the shifts are different, it's pointless.  There is also a "Smart" mode which is ... a nothing, as well as "Eco" and "Snow".  I just leave it in Eco.

The most fun was driving the CTS-V at COTA, they told us to put it in Track 2 and hold the brake, hard, and hammer the throttle.  That was a handful.

Acceleration is clearly an important thing to me, but it’s not the only thing.

My AMG will do a 0 to 60 in 2.9.  My CT4-V Blackwing is 3.9.  They both are superb handling.

But if I had to pick- the choice is easy… the V.
just a supreme driving experience.

It's interesting, to me, how these "luxury" car makers started making these "halo"? cars with ultra high horsepower.  (I wouldn't have called BMW luxury really, they were always more into performance.)  I guess they might have made some money on them versus staying with their main image.  MB has always had a great image for building extremely solid, safe, luxury vehicles, now they have the AMG versions.  In the same vein, it's interesting how Porsche started making SUVs with a lot of performance, along with Audi and some others.  And Audi has performance sedans too of course.

Everybody was kind of forced into making SUVs, I understand that more than making a line of high performance sedans.

Do you like this one? I found the C to be a little small. The E is good.

I would like an S, but the wife wants a GLE.

I just want to have people say

Sorry badge. Got distracted. Mine is a Gt 63s AMG
so- plenty big.  Back seat big.

sick fast.  Sick.  Think facelift.  Great handling. Super easy to throw into and out of curves and corners.  It’s weakness( if there is one) when compared to the V is this:

vehicles that have this level of handling trade off ride harshness with the stiff suspension needed.  The AMG included.  But not the V. GM figured out the magnetic ride suspension- so well in fact a number of the exotics have copied it.

Our 2014 CTS had the magnetic ride suspension, I thought it was a touch on the firm side.  It handled well, it was the 4 cylinder, so a long way from high performance, but it had pretty good get up and go.  My wife liked it but thought it too big for the city, which it kind of was.

I'm still getting used to the size of the Tucson around town because I don't drive it much.
