Florida's losses can be chalked up to an older population, for the most part. Lots of older folks just lived their lives and some paid with it. Most had co-morbidities.

Bill Gates on what keeps him up at night: war, another pandemic (cnbc.com)

I agree another pandemic is a virtual certainty.  I know some folks disparage or even hate Gates, I was never very clear exactly why.  Someone on FB just told me to read up on him, but he provided no citations, and accused Gates of wanting a lot of folks to die, without any antecedent.

might have a mild case of COVID

started Monday evening around 8pm with a fever
woke up Tuesday morning with fever and slight headache
same this morning

I have a COVID test in the cupboard but don't see the point

nothing serious but don't want to spread it to customers, so canceled my business trip to eastern Iowa
hopefully, feeling better this afternoon for a walk to the bar for some wings and beer - That'll cure it

hottest they got, Carolina Reaper sauce - maybe I'll ask them to use some of the stuff they bought on-line just for me - it was RELLY hot

and Bud Heavy long neck bottles, of course

instead of my regular stool at the bar, I'll grab a two-top table in the back and try not to kiss anyone

I would test and report it.

It's the only way we can have reliable stats.

Don't know how well an old test can pick up current strains.  I'd take a negative with a grain of salt.

My old test showed positive a couple of months ago.

I wouldn't test yet. Usually a test is most likely to show positive when you're getting to days 4-5. Often testing <48 hours in will come up negative.

The home tests aren't particularly reliable of course. Positive means you definitely have COVID, but negative you still might have COVID.

I'm with ya FF. I personally don't see the need to test, or report it if positive.

But you don't want to piss Badge off, so you should do what the man says :57:
