Hope you’re feeling better Sam. Something definitely going around, at least in Ohio. My household and most of my office been fighting something the last few days.

Really excited to watch this Nebraska game. How does Colorado follow-up last week? I wouldn’t want to be in their path right now.

I'm up for it.

If Rhule isn't up for it, then hopefully he can learn from it.

too early to tell after this game, but it's a big game for both coaches

wait up, the JAyhawks might be good

wait til they upset the Horns and Sooners

with a little help from the Refs
They had a lot of help from the refs last year and even got the Horns in Lawrence.  Final score, Texas 55 Kansas 14.  This year the game is in Austin.  Texas may not be Texas, but Texas isn't Illinois.

Waking up in Scottsdale AZ this morning. Missing the start of the early games to hit the farmer’s market in Gilbert before it gets too hot. Temps topping 112F here in the Phoenix area today.

Plan for the afternoon is to crawl the sports bars in Tempe with a few buddies until Arizona State’s 7pm kickoff Vs Oklahoma State. Sun Devils games are about the only meaningful time I get with my cousin Kendrick, a season ticket holder.

Earlier in the offseason we picked this early non-conference ASU game because we’d never seen Oklahoma State in person, but now both Arizona schools will be seeing the Cowboys regularly by joining the Big 12.

Sparty should have hired Lance Leipold
20 other schools think so too. I've been saying it for years. The guy can coach.

Throwing three slabs of baby backs on the smoker this afternoon. Some mac & cheese, cole slaw, and cornbread on the side. Might throw some brownies in the oven for dessert too.

Today's game slate is relatively weak. Will probably go for UN-L/UC-B early, maybe Iowa/ISU for the afternoon, all as a lead-in to what MIGHT actually be a good game, Texas/Bama.

Nick Saban could return to MSU, and the way college football is structured now it wouldn't matter
Hope you're wrong but like everything else, prolly not

The Athletic with a new story on Texas stud WR Xavier Worthy.....pouring salt in old wounds.....jfc Michigan's admissions are a joke. Fire that entire department. Now. They pull this sh*t right before he's suppose to move in with JJ McCarthy. God fn damnit this team with Xavier Worthy as WR1 would be insane...you're welcome Texas... LINK

Spent the morning taking a virtual baking class from Zingermans, baking angel food cake and a gluten free chocolate cake. I can't recommend Zingermans enough for baking classes.

Today is the big buckets tournament down at the Flats. Fearless and Harry nearly took the trophy back to Omaha the last time they were here.

I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that today would have been Dad's 74th birthday. He passed back in July.
