Current coffee table is 36" square. Not a great dimension for a small room and a 3-seat couch.

New one is 52x28. I initially didn't want this one because of the size, and preferred one that we saw on Wayfair that was only 48x24. But we saw this one in person (Living Spaces) and liked it, and I started delving into the specs and reviews of the Wayfair table and it looked like a steaming pile of political crap, materials/construction wise.

I have about 8 1/2 feet between the couch and the fireplace; TV mounted above the mantle. But it's not the 28" dimension that worries me, it's more that there won't be quite as much of a walkway because of how wide it is AND being 28" depth.

4 feet between you and the TV? You live in an RV? :57:
A small one bedroom apt. I wanted to live in a walkable place that wasn’t a bad drive from work. After too much apartment hunting, this shoebox seemed fine.

I'm ditching the king-size and getting an adjustable full-size bed.  It'll help with my snoring and make room for a big, comfy chair.
I didn't realize how much I used the thick armrest of my sofa I had to get rid of.

And now that it's not 100+ everyday, I got a hammock.

Fun.

Cal King is the only thing for me.

I'm 77" tall. An Eastern [traditional] King is 76" long.

I knew it was 80x76, but I thought it was the other way... 80 wide and 76 long.

Thanks for the correction.

Love the memory foam mattress. It's got several levels and the top is a cooling gel layer.

Didn't like the price tag.

Well, I suppose it's dimensions depend on how you rotate it. But I checked because I'm just a couple inches shorter than you and never thought it was close to being short.

Yeah, but King beds will all be 80" long. And sheets will be made for that orientation, and bed skirts, and the like. So even if you had a simple traditional bed frame that you can easily rotate, without headboard/etc, your sheets would still be wrong.

I’m 6’3, 235.  My woman is 5’10 140

My German Shepard - BRUTUS- weighs 100, and my rescue dog ( golden terrier mix) is 35lbs.

There is no bed big enough. 😂

On a good night I get a sliver of the king size bed.

Well I wouldn't want your bed skirt to be out of place :)

We bought a foam mattress, Tempurpedic, a few years back, it's excellent.  It's a king with a split and elevation head and foot.  I really miss it when we travel.  I think it was around $4500.  I had an impression they were soft, but this one is not at all, but it sure is comfortable.

I see there are a ton of brands out today.

My wife wants to change the bedding... Again.

Seems to me it's still working for its intended purpose. All I care about is that we HAVE bedding. I'm not even worried whether it matches--because I'm unable to tell what does or doesn't match. A fact that I'm reminded of nearly daily. "That doesn't match. Go change."
