Jury in Detroit awarded a former Blue Cross employee $12.7 million dollars.  She had been fired for refusing Covid vaccine on religious grounds.  Ironically, she worked remote.

Former US President, George Bush Senior, Was A Naval Aviator Who Was ...

Lt. Bush being rescued after being shot down by a Japanese pilot.
Trump would call him a loser for getting shot down, no?

A jury is just a thin slice of the masses.  That's all I have to say about that.

Sounds like a better attribute for the leader of a nation than military service, I guess.

I mean, you'll get no argument from me that Trump's not a dick.

It also doesn't make any difference.

It used to.  It's just interesting to me that the once pious party abandoned that completely.

Both parties abandoned anything I hold important or dear.  I basically just want the country to survive now, without some major conflict somewhere, and hopefully no economic collapse.  Some of the fear of Trump I read on Facebook and elsewhere seems over the top, to me.  Hopefully it is.

I am somewhat a bit encouraged that a candidate does appear to need to run a campaign emphasizing about three "positives", rather than a campaign of negatives (I'm better than him.).  Maybe that's a one off.  Trump stayed focused on the economy and immigration as his focal points, and it obviously worked.  (I'm not suggesting he will be notably successful at either, but he promised that, over and over.)  Harris meanwhile was stuck being Biden 2.  Biden had approval ratings around 40, and never was very popular.

I would like it if candidates told us what they were FOR instead of what they are against.

Pretty obvious what Trump is for to me.

I dislike Trump's economic notions, a lot.  I dislike his constant referrals to immigrants in such pejorative terms.  I disliked how he handled COVID, a lot.  I dislike his jousting with allies the way he does, I think our alliances are important.  There is a better way to encourage other countries to support their militaries aside from claiming they haven't paid what the owe to NATO, that's silly.  I dislike all the promises he makes and then does squat, like some kind of great new health care better than the PPACA.

I dislike Trump's economic notions, a lot.  and yet we had low inflation and unemployment

I dislike his constant referrals to immigrants in such pejorative terms  Do you mean illegal immigrants cause Ive not heard him say much bad about legal immigrants

I disliked how he handled COVID, a lot  He pushed very hard for a vac which was achieved by the end of his term.  Im sure there are many things he would improve on if this happens again.  His covid actions were way better the Bidens.  Hindsight is a great thing

I dislike his jousting with allies the way he does, I think our alliances are important.  There is a better way to encourage other countries to support their militaries aside from claiming they haven't paid what the owe to NATO, that's silly  Hes very direct especially if he thinks America is being taken advantage of.  I feel allies like knowing exactly how he feels.  Hes not a politician and doesnt pull punches

I dislike all the promises he makes and then does squat, like some kind of great new health care better than the PPACA.
Im not aware of any new health care plan he has suggested.  It would not take much to be better ihen Obamacare however

Trump has made several promises.  He might not be able to make them all good but you will see him try his hardest to do so which is a far cry from what we got under Biden.
