Seems like a reasonable list.  A few points:

- I would probably move Bowers to first team TE.
- Has Will Anderson actually been dominant, or is he living off of last year's hype?
- I feel like Eichenberg should probably be on the 2nd team list.
- Somebody from the PSU secondary should be on here.  Probably Joey Porter Jr.

Mayer has little bit better stats than Bowers. Will Anderson has 11 TFL and 5 sacks midway through the season- I'd say he's deserving of his spot. Not sure I agree on Eichenberg....he's been pretty damn good though. Joey Porter Jr probably a legit snub on one of those two lists I think though.

which is crazy. Not sure I've ever seen a team as loaded at TE as UGA. Maybe Miami back in the day?

crazy to say this...but you might be able to say the same thing about Blake Corum. He might not be the best RB on his own team. Donovan Edwards is coming.

I think the WR's are backwards.  Egbuka and Odunze should be second team while Rice and Hyatt should be first.  And frankly, Egbuka is a stretch.  He isn't top 10 nationally in receptions, TD's, or yards.

I think Bowers is the best TE on the team, but the other guy is almost as good, but with a higher ceiling.

Yes- I have seen several versions of this mid year All American team that have Marvin Harrison (as opposed to Egbuka).

WR - Trey Palmer - Nebraska

Trey Palmer has been not only one of the best wide receivers in the B1G, but one of the top pass-catchers in the nation this season. The Nebraska standout is something fans in Lincoln can get excited about despite another down season.

Palmer ranks first among Power 5 receivers with an 89.3 PFF grade.

Palmer has 47 receptions for 781 yards and 5 touchdowns for Nebraska this season. He finished last week with 237 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns with 60 rushing yards on the ground.

With that performance he became the first player in FBS history to amass over 225 yards receiving and 50 yards rushing in a single game.

47 for 781 5TDs  111.6 per game

and he plays on a crap team

Bowers is the best TE on his team because he's the best TE in the country.
If he wasn't the best TE on his team, he wouldn't be starting, would he.

You may not realize that Washington is starting also, they play a 12 or 13 often.

And I noted he MIGHT not be the best TE on the team.  Washington has some physical attributes Bowers simply doesn't have.  Bowers has more yards receiving and Washington has a better average per.

Anyway, the both seem quite adept.  I don't really get into splitting hairs and worrying who is better.  It depends on the situation.
