Even worse. He might not take it.
Yeah, don't be like Tennessee and settle for your 22nd choice.

Realistically, Nebraska is stuck with Frost for now, this season.  I'm sort of amazed he could appear to be a pretty good coach previously and now look so ill prepared, perhaps the roster is just not what he needs to perform.  Bad apples, lack of unity, dissension, it would be tough for a coach to fix that if it exists.

I saw it my junior year in HS basketball, we had an OK team but with factions.  The factions graduated and the next year we had a very good team.

the roster had all those problems in year #1

this is season #4 - this is Frost's mess

Team Captain QB (junior) Frost's first recruit - fumbles for an opponent TD

Team Captain punt returner (junior) - 2 pts safety and tosses the ball out of the endzone

TE turned (3rd year soph) center snaps ball over QB's head - again

LB Caleb Tannor (Junior) awarded a blackshirt - roughing the passer AND taunting (30 yards) on the same play that negated an INT.

I feel for you @FearlessF , I really do.  When I take shots at Frost, I don't mean to be insulting to you or UNL fans in general AT ALL.

I'm trying to look at it from the "If I were a Nebraska fan" perspective.  If Nebraska was my team I'd be very frustrated as I'm sure you are.

I defended Frost for 3 seasons of mistakes and sloppy turnover filled football.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt for the cultural mess left by Riley.

It's on Frost now and it didn't look like ANYTHING changed in game #1.

I was frustrated the past 3 seasons, I'm beyond that now.

Man how the hell do AD's fall for these ridiculous buyouts - it should all be incentive/performance based.Feel for the 'Skers fans though the HPS might be having some exorcist like moments

Had JF gotten off to a a half way decent start  W/L wise recruiting could have ramped up but now........

I read that Nebraska had a 3rd string QB who transferred to Rutgers and beat out the guy that just defeated Nebraska as the back up QB out of Rutgers that replaced an injured Peters.

That's kind of amazing.
