2021 Cincinnati as a write in. Beat another P5 playoff contender on the road to solidify their spot.

And while they were beat decisively by Bama in the playoffs it wasn’t like they were humiliated.  That was a 17-6 game in the 4th quarter.

I didn't follow the G5 much, and now even less, so it's hard to make a judgement here.

That 2010 TCU team that beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl was damn good.

I went with TCU. Very good QB. Great defense. Irritatingly good bowl performance. 

Also a good bit of next-level talent, which is unfortunately a bit of a measuring stick here.

06 Boise was with Zabransky at QB and beat OU on the Statue of Liberty play.
09 Boise was with Kellen Moore
04 Utah was with Alex Smith and Urban Meyer
08 Utah QB was Brian Johnson and smacked Bama in the Sugar
