#13 Indiana (6-0, 9-0) at Michigan State (2-4, 4-5) Post Game

Preseason, I thought this was MSU's easiest Big Ten game.  Figured MSU would go 0-4 in October.  Needed to go 3-1 in September and November to reach a bowl.  Took care of September, and actually went 1-3 in October.  But Indiana and Illinois have made 3-1 look way tougher than it appeared preseason.

MSU's back seven is playing better than last year, but Miami and Oregon buying their two best lineman has killed them up front.  They are getting absolutely zero pressure against solid teams.

Closer than that IMO

ELA, you are about right on your prediction. This Indiana team looks like 1967 all over again, except no John Isenbarger. He was an incredibly powerful running back when I watched his play on television in 1967 and in the Rose Bowl, but tonight I read this surprising history about him having lost the starting QB competition and resorting to playing the position he was known for in college, but had no prior experience playing: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2024/03/08/indiana-hoosiers-football-hall-of-famer-john-isenbarger-dies-1968-rose-bowl-iu-muncie/72893470007/
Isenbarger died March 7, 2024, which I had not seen until I found myself reminiscing about the 1967 Indiana team because of ELA's post.

I would have settled for that.  The turnovers and special teams mistakes put an already thin defense on the field WAY too much.  And the OL got absolutely abused
