Ohhh, that’s a spicy replay.

I think the only way that it’s not Penn State ball is if they say, Howard was touching it and was standing out of bounds.

We're making this for tonight: https://www.lecreuset.com/green-chile-chicken-and-dumplings/LCR-2655.html

But of course with the poultry allergy, we're substituting shredded pork for the chicken. I don't want to use any of the many packages of frozen smoked pulled pork I have in the freezer for this, so we needed fresh pork shoulder.

My wife had it on her grocery list for today. But I was at the Costco yesterday and they had an $8 off package deal on pork shoulder. Given that Costco has better per-pound meat prices than the grocery store, I figured I had to buy it.

Only problem? Instead of the 3-4# pork shoulder she would have bought at the story (adequate for this recipe), I bought 16# :57:

So I've got an 8# pork shoulder going in the crock pot, probably half or more that will end up getting shredded and vacuum sealed for future recipes where we want shredded pork but NOT smoked pulled pork. I also then vacuum sealed the other 8# and tossed it in the freezer for future use.
