Double OT

I vaguely recall a RochRod era UM-Illinois game that was like 63-61 in 5 OTs
I remember watching that in a Frickers during an OSU bye week.  What a fun game that was.

Joel Klatt sounds so sad that this isn't working.  What a consistent clown

I’m still withholding judgement and think he can be the guy but it’s not looking great.

Wink Martindale was a disastrous hire for DC. That’s on Moore. No excuse for that and it needs to be rectified in the off-season or Moore’s future at Michigan is in jeopardy.

As far as the QB’s go, not sure you can pin that on Moore. That’s on Jeem imo. This is the worst QB situation that Michigan has had since year 1 of RichRod. It’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Alex Orji is a gimmick wild cat QB who just can’t throw. Davis Warren looks exactly like you’d expect a walk-on who hasn’t started a football game since his sophomore year of HS- out of place and not fit to be a starter at this level. And Jack Tuttle is like 36 years old with a mortgage and still in college- he’s a guy who was never any good to begin with who got passed over repeatedly at Indiana. Which should tell you all you need to know about him.

It’s just god damn tough to win when you literally don’t have an even above average functional startable B1G caliber QB AND you hire a god awful old washed up past his prime DC who got run out of the NFL and fired by his last two employers.

Painful to watch…my take:

Michigan OL’s pass protection was for shit despite benching OT Link. I think the current staff can eventually fix it.

Michigan needs to find a QB because it’s not Tuttle.  Find one in the portal that has proven ability against P4 opponents not recruiting rankings.  Probably best if the new QB transfer(s) had a couple years of eligibility left because it will taken that long to develop QB talent at home.  And Michigan will need to hire staff that can identify and develop such talent because it ain't OC Campbell.  In the meantime Michigan may go 4-8 this year.

Michigan D was OK …good enough to win if they had an offense.

They’re not going to fire Moore but I hope his continued employment in Ann Arbor hinges on the decisions he makes once the season is over.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

not ready to give up on Jadyn Davis that'd be insane he's only an 18 year old true frosh- but honestly have some serious questions about him that he wasn't able to at least catapult to #2 on the depth chart in fall camp considering the other options were....Alex Orji & Davis Warren & Jack Tuttle. Yikes.
