UGA will be interesting in 2022 with the QB situation and rebuilding the defense. I expect a step back obviously, it could be a rather largish step, though they will be favored to win the East again. I don't know where Florida will be in Year One, probably a threat. Bama has shown how to reload, and UGA has recruited at a high level, so they can reload, they also play younger folks in rotations like Bama does. Kirby is obviously trying to mimic Saban's methods.
As noted there is a lot of upheaval elsewhere with half the teams with new coaches (counting those with one year in already). The Vols seem to be on an upswing, but from a low level and they need to restock talent. They could upset someone next year with that offense. UK seems solidly "good" now, but not great. Arkansas is trying to do the Bama thing as well, Sam Pittman, and is building another solid team that lacks elite talent at this point. LSU? Whew.
A&M oddly enough is also doing a Bama, or trying. They are amassing talent and the NIL thing is large there. They play Bama in Tloosa next season.
